During the tour of India in 2008, the-then England captain Kevin Pietersen had kicked up a storm when he called Yuvraj Singh a pie chucker after getting out to the latter. The England legend went on to say that Yuvraj Singh had bowled ‘left-arm filth’.
But they have left that episode behind and are now good friends. Time and again, one has seen Kevin Pietersen and Yuvraj Singh pulling each other’s legs on Twitter. Well, Kevin Pietersen did the same on Saturday when he could not help but take a hilarious dig at the India legend after Chelsea beat Manchester United in the FA Cup semifinal on Saturday.
Kevin Pietersen is a Chelsea fan and Yuvraj Singh’s love for Manchester United is not a secret either. Goals from Olivier Giroud, Mason Mount and an own goal from Harry Maguire saw Chelsea beat Manchester United by 3-1 to storm into the FA Cup final. The loss ended United’s 19-match unbeaten streak.
