West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has declared the WBBSE class 10th result, at 10 am today. Students can check their results online at wbbse.org and wbresults.nic.in. This year, WBBSE has recorded the highest ever pass percent at 86.34%. Out of the 10.03 lakh students who took the exam,8.43 lakh passed. Aritra pal has bagged first rank in state in his class 10th exam. He got 694 out of 700 i.e 99.14%. He is from Memari Vidyasagar Memorial School.Sayantan Garai and Avik Das scored 693 out of 700 to bag second position while Soumya Pathak, Debosmita Mahapatra and Aritra Maity scored 690/700 to bag 3rd rank.
This year, a total of 10.03 lakh students had appeared for the West Bengal 10th board exams, out of which 8.43 lakh students have passed the WBBSE Class 10 exams this year. A total of 86.34 per cent students have passed the exams and according to WBBSE officials, this is the highest ever pass percent till now,
Boys have outprerformed girls with 89.87 per cent. The pass percentage of girls is 83.48 per cent. Last year, the pass percentage was 86.07 per cent. East Midnapore topped among the districts in Bengal with a pass percentage of 96.59, followed by West Midnapore and the two 24 Parganas (North and South). The pass percentage in Kolkata stands at 91.07.
Aritra Pal has topped in the Madhyamik examination this year with 694 marks (99.14 per cent). Sayantan Garai from Bankura district and Abhik Das from East Burdwan secured the second rank with 693 marks. The third rank was secured by three students with 690 marks. They are Soumya Pathak from Bankura, Debasmita Mahapatra from East Midnapore and Aritra Maity from North 24 Parganas district.
